As i move my cursor around my drawing, rather than moving smoothly, it jumps in 1/2 increments (architectural). The green boxes didnt appear and i cant snap onto tangent despite having osnap on and all the necessary snapping tools on. In navisworks you can measure the shortest distance between the centerlines of selected parametric objects:

While using the momentary hotkey j for snap stepping, maya will periodically toggle on snap step for all tools, even tools like the universal manipulator who's snapping.
Can someone please help me with this problem?
Now that we finally have the ability to link navisworks files into revit, we need to be able to use them effectively. It will be helpful if we add layout tools and snapping features just like autocad or revit to a better accurecy. Press and hold the ctrl key and select two parametric objects. This is probably a stupid question, but on some projects when i drag beam ends, it'll 3d snap all over the place including to tops and bottoms of columns.
Please add the ability to snap to elements in coordination. It all due to the cursor's settings. 2.is there any snapping tools in maya?like snap to vertex, snap to face etc like in max? While using measure feature in navis freedom 2025.
