I also think non of the answers actually address this question. Git clone will clone remote branch into local. I think this is not a duplicate of git undo last commit as it asks how to delete any commit from a branch.

I think you need to push a revert commit. How can i solve it? So pull from github again, including the commit you want to revert, then use git revert and push the result.
